About this opportunity
Beehive, our in-house agency sits within Brands Marketing and Experience, which is part of the Consumer Relationship division. We opened our doors in 2021, and we’re now a 40 strong team of passionate designers, artworkers, copywriters and account handlers. We’re about to embark on our next phase of evolution… growing our team to enable us to better support the growing demand for more personalised, digital 121 customer communications.
We work in partnership with communication teams across Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) and the Chief Customer Office (CCO) – working together to get every brief right first time – whether it’s copywriting that makes the complex simple, a personalised one-to-one campaign that drives action or in-branch material that is perfect for the time and place.
You’ll help us by…
With Beehive now established, we’re getting ready to optimise our ways of working through the formation of a new sub-team called Rapid. Rapid is about embracing the unpredictable nature of the work we do including small amends for literature and reactive social.
In some ways a traditional artwork studio, but with stripped back account management layers – enabling our comms teams partners to work more closely with creatives. We'll also supercharge this with being able to respond in a more agile way to requests for creative artwork, design amends and reactive social.
The Rapid Lead will act as the glue, bringing the wider team together. A big part of this role will also include leading on our technology requirements, ensuring the team has the right software to drive efficiencies.
Rapid is just an idea on a page right now, so you’ll need to feel comfortable coming in to build new ways of working from the ground up.
Being able to lead a high performing team of creative artworkers & artworkers - building on their existing skills and capability and taking the team to the next level.
Working closely with our Client Services Lead and Head of Beehive to build trusted and respected relationships with our stakeholders. Cementing Beehive as the ‘go to’ for 121 communications.
Being technically minded, working in an agile way to implement new ideas and technology with our partners in the Platform teams.
Being able to act at pace. Trusting your judgement and mobilising your talented team to get things done.
Understanding our brands, communication principles and what is required from a risk and legal perspective to ensure we’re treating customers fairly in line with consumer duty.
Building a brilliant team culture, nurturing career conversations and personal development.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for someone who has a proven agency background and understands creative artwork inside and out. Beehive is an in-demand team, so you’ll need to feel comfortable dealing with high volumes of work.
Technically minded and experience of defining new processes
Come from an artwork background so you understand what's involved in leading this type of fucntion
Comfortable with a blank piece of paper and a natural problem solver
Strong understanding of creative software and technology packages
Drive, energy and the ability to act with pace!
Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance changing priorities.
Great relationship management, influencing and coaching - developing trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
