An opportunity has arisen for a temporary full time Purchasing Assistant to join the Procurement and Contract Management Team for 12 months. The role will be based within our Corporate and Education Team. The successful candidate would be responsible for undertaking procurement’s on behalf of the council and for providing support/advice in relation to low value purchases. The Purchasing Assistant will also contribute to the Purchase to Pay process, helping ensure that purchasing transactions are effective and efficient and record information within the council’s purchasing system that is accurate, well-structured and informative.
