Band 5 – Development - Oncology Research Nurse
Full time – Permanent
We are looking to recruit a nurse to an exciting and challenging developmental post that will be based in Oncology Research Department within ARI. The post will allow you to develop the research nurse skills required to recruit, monitor and collate information from patients undergoing clinical trials.
You will have the opportunity to learn about the patient pathway through clinical research trials and work alongside other Oncology research nurses supporting patients undergoing clinical trial treatments.
The post will provide an opportunity for a nurse looking for a career in clinical research. Previous experience in research would be an advantage but full training will be provided where necessary. We are looking for a nurse who is keen to learn, willing to follow a competency framework to achieve key objectives and in time have the ability to manage a caseload of patients under supervision for a busy trials portfolio. They must have a flexible approach and who will work to the high standard required in clinical research.
