PA to Chief Pharmacist

Band 4 - £27,598 - £30,019 per annum

Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

 37.5 Hours per Week

Permanent Post

Applications are invited for the post of Personal Assistant to the Chief Pharmacist based at the Pharmacy Department, Western Isles Hospital.

You will provide comprehensive administration, clerical and secretarial support to the Chief Pharmacist.

You will be responsible for the administration support required, with tasks ranging from receipt of all pharmacy orders, diary management, general correspondence, minute taking, generation and maintenance of spreadsheets to ensure the efficient and effective review of departmental documentation.

You will have proven excellent IT skills (MS Office), good communication skills, experience of administration systems and spreadsheets databases, organisational skills and will be able to demonstrate both your ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Previous experience working in an administrative/secretarial environment is essential and previous experience in a health care environment is desirable.
