Tired of the commute to work?
Looking for a change of scenery?
Want a better work/life balance?

Come work with us and experience the unspoiled beauty of Shetland, its welcoming community and its unique opportunities.

Joining us will give you opportunities to work in our ever growing MDT, which includes our in-house pharmacist, physiotherapist and Advanced Nurse Practitioner team.  The GP Practice works closely with the Community Mental Health team and the Community Nurse team, both of which are located conveniently within the same building.

We are a training and retainer Practice placing a strong emphasis on learning and development.  We dedicate one afternoon each week to clinical learning and governance.

Are you a GP with a special interest that you would like to develop?
Interested in out of hours care?
There are opportunities to join the voluntary out of hours rota and we can work with you to help develop your special interest!

The Practice is serious about sustainability, practices nature prescribing and has a fully electric fleet of vehicles for use when visiting patients at home including our very popular electric bike!

Rise to the challenge and enjoy the opportunity - Shetland is a wonderful place to live and work.  Shetland offers low pollution, low crime, excellent schools, great leisure facilities, unique wildlife and amazing scenery, whilst still only a short flight away from the UK mainland.  To find out more about living and working in Shetland go to www.shetland.org and/or https://www.shetland.org/life
