Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming statutory children and families social work team based in the west side of Scottish Borders.

The Senior Social Work role is highly valued and is key in shaping both operational and strategic drivers across the service.

As a Senior Social Worker you will provide line management to Social Workers and Social Work Assistants and in doing so will be afforded the opportunity to progress your career in social work while continuing to embrace front line social work.

Essential

CCETSW approved qualifications in Social Work e.g. Dip SW/CQSW/CSS or equivalent.

Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

A Valid UK Driving Licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post*
