Records Management Officer

A full-time, temporary position for one year has arisen in our ICT Team for a Records Management Officer.

On the 1st August 2023, UHI West Highland, UHI North Highland and UHI Outer Hebrides merged to form UHI North, West and Hebrides, a partner of the University of the Highlands and Islands.  With 600 staff and 19 campuses we cover an area larger than Wales and encompass more than 40% of Scotland’s coastline.  

A full-time, temporary position for one year has arisen in our ICT Team for a Records Management Officer. 

You will assist the College with the development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate records management controls, compliance with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, in particular with the Section 61 Scottish Government Code of Practice for Records Management and Data Protection regulations ensuring that all internal, statutory and regulatory requirements are adhered to in accordance with sectoral best practice.  

The suitable candidates will hold a HNC or HND in Business or Information Administration and have an interest in Records Management. 

Salary: £25,280 - £27,043 per annum (pro-rata)

Location: Any NWH College location 

Working Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, temporary for 1 year
