This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated, passionate and supportive children and families statutory social work team.
Based in our Galashiels office you will form part of the Children and Families long term team covering the western end of Scottish Borders.
This is a post which offers a varied case load in a rural setting.
We offer a high level of quality training and supervision to our staff including opportunities for personal and professional development.
Professional social work qualification recognised by the SSSC eg. Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW. Registration with Scottish Social Services Council.
Up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professional children and families social workers, particularly relating to child protection and looked after children.
A Valid UK Driving Licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post*
