Duties will include sale of tickets and other rail service products, providing customers with information and assistance.  Maintenance/cleaning of station environments including platforms, waiting areas and toilets, ensuring that the stations conform to the Service Quality Incentive Regime requirements.

A highly motivated and flexible individual with excellent communication skills.  Customer friendly focused.  An effective team player who can demonstrate individual initiative.  Should be able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm. 

Relief post covers Forres, Elgin and Keith.

Flexibility is essential to meet shift requirements earliest start is 06.10 hours and latest finish is 21.00 hours Monday - Saturday with one Rest Day (not a set day).  Sunday working as required at Elgin only. Ideally you will have customer service experience. The relief post will have a contractual commitment to work, when required by the company up to a maximum of 13 Sundays per calendar year.

Hours of work: 35-hour week.  Reference Salary Relief Post: £34,497 per annum. Shift post £31,431 per annum.  Training salary both roles £21,193 per annum.

Selection process:  Assessment and Interview will form the initial stages of the selection process. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical questionnaire. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period.

Training: Training initially involves a 2-day Induction training programme
