£23,838 - £25,189 Fixed Term (until 31/03/2025)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Caretaker/Handyperson to join the Housing Options Team. You must have a full UK driving licence. The role also includes basic maintenance to Council tenancies, removal of furniture between tenancies, and cleaning duties of both domestic properties and common areas.
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, enthusiastic and reliable person. Ideally you will have experience of working with members of the public. You must be motivated, reliable and flexible in your approach. You would be expected to promote and act as a role model for the council's values and commitment to equality and diversity, promoting positive values and anti-discriminatory, non-judgemental practise and treat colleagues and customers with dignity and respect.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am until 5.00pm.
