Sales/ Visitor Attraction Team Member

Become part of our Waternish team where you will welcome visitors to our tannery, and shop. Introducing the story of leather, and our stunning range of wool and leather products, to global customers in our beautiful location. You will also help the wider team with web and mail orders. Part-time and full-time hours available daytime.

  • provide excellent customer service to all our visitors and customers
  • support the visitor attraction by advising visitors on site from providing guided tours to signposting information onsite - full training provided
  • work across the Waternish retail space, supporting customers in their purchasing, operating the till system, and keeping the showroom to our high standards of merchandising
  • provide advice and support to visitors throughout the site.
  • help stock the showroom as and when appropriate
  • support our web order business by picking and packing orders, using the required web and postal software as appropriate.
  • work effectively as part of a busy and diverse team
  • help with the operation of our seasonal Yurt cafe and our winter coffee service where appropriate.
  • adhere and maintain health & safety standards around the site.
  • maintain a good standard of personal presentation at all times.
Requirements
  • great interpersonal skills
  • ability to engage with a wide range of people
  • retail or hospitality experience preferred but not essential. All customer-facing environments will be considered.
  • sales experience valuable but not essential
  • computer literacy
  • flexibility and adaptability
  • proven experience working in a team
  • barista experience a plus
