As a Cook at Sodexo in one of the most prestigious Schools in Scotland - Strathallan School, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary standards whilst enjoying a great work/life balance. What you’ll do:   

  • Prepare and present food to the highest standard.
  • Ensure all work areas and surfaces are clean and tidy, especially at the end of the day/shift.
  • Always ensure the best customer service.
  • Replenish food during service periods.
  • Complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, cleaning schedules, delivery temperatures, stock takes, etc.
  • Ensure all food is prepared & served with due care and attention, particularly in regard to special dietary requirements, allergens and shelf life.
  • Ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organised manner and all food safety and health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Promote a friendly working relationship with colleagues.
  • Undertake training as required and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Raise any issues with the Head Chef or Catering Manager in a timely manner.

What you bring:  

  • Experienced culinary background
  • Good interpersonal skills and calm nature
  • You will be enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong but flexible, always prepared to listen and consider the views of others.
  • Take pride in your personal appearance and maintains a high level of good personal hygiene.
  • You will take pride in being responsible, conscientious – demonstrates a commitment to get things done or of before agreed deadlines.

  • 40 hours per week
  • 5 days out of 7 per week
  • £13.00 per hour
  • Free Parking
