We’re looking for Electrician Semi – Skilled based out of our Doncaster site.

What you’ll do:
You will be required to assist in the Loading / Unloading and Movement of all equipment associated with Electrical Services.
Have the ability to carry out routine Testing and Inspection duties on a wide range of Distribution Equipment, Automatic Mains Failure Units, Cable and Lighting throughout the Aggreko fleet
You must be suitably competent to perform basic fault finding duties on a range of distribution Equipment
You will have an understanding and ability to demonstrate correct use of Test Equipment ( L.V.)
You will have a basic understanding and demonstrate ability to diagnose and identify faults on equipment ranging from 110 – 690 Volts A.C.
You must have the ability to inspect, test and repair L.V. cable held within the Aggreko Fleet
Be prepared to follow and adhere to current procedures controlling best practice for repair, test and Inspection of equipment under the control of Aggreko Electrical Services
You will be competent to follow in house systems of stock control. ( Ability to book, monitor and control use of replacement Parts)
Able to work on own initiative or with others on tasks with minimum supervision
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Ideally will be educated to a National Standard of GCSE Grade ‘ C ‘ or above in
Maths, English and minimum one Science subject
Ideally qualified BS7671 17th Edition
Ideally qualified to City and Guilds 2330 or equivalent NVQ Level 2
The successful applicant must have an Electrical background and relevant Electrical Experience
A broad knowledge of Electrical related legislation and policy would be beneficial
Good organisational & communication skills
