NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

Hours: 2 x 37 hours per week. (Monday – Friday)

Vacancies have arisen within Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership Public Dental Service for two receptionists to support the dental patients and staff within our city clinics.

Although these posts are likely to be based within one of our clinics for a level of stability, a flexible approach to occasional city wide cover is prerequisite.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and proven initiative, someone who would enjoy working with the general public.

The successful candidate should have key organisational and keyboard skills, be confident in their use of I.T. systems. Previous working experience within a dental practice environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Cash handling and payment recording is involved in the day to day duties of this post therefore accuracy in this field is essential.

For informal enquiries please contact Doris Morrison or Lesley Moore, Dental Administrators, Tel. 01224 556598.

Please read the job description and person specification for additional detail and ensure you meet the essential criteria prior to applying for this post.

Closing Date: 5 April 2024. Please note that these post may be closed earlier if a high number of applications are received.  Interviews will take place on the 17th and 18th April 2024
