Our Client Assurance team is now looking for an Assurance Analyst.

The key purpose of this role is to develop a strong relationship with FNZ and other key outsourcers to oversee a robust control environment and influence third parties to delivery good outcomes for the business and our clients.  Doing this by leveraging FNZ, using data and technology, reducing manual work and effort and focusing on using digital tools to manage oversight in real-time. This will improve control at source end to end, protect our clients and help our business scale. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Operating oversight of third parties using a modern oversight framework reliant on outcome based, data driven metric and third party controls assurance

  • Dealing with third parties and internal stakeholders on a frequent basis building a strong relationship and partnership to achieve good outcomes for clients and customers

  • Assessing third party controls assurance and analysing data intelligence to oversee processes and controls at third parties

  • Tracking and monitoring the performance of third parties holding them accountable for the management of risks and reviewing risk KPIs and third party KRIs.

  • Providing assurance over the compliance of regulation with a focus on CASS, COBS, SYSC, DPA and Conduct risk

What we're looking for:

  • Proven analytical skills, including intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, naturally inclined to analyse and challenge current processes and seek to ensure best practice at all times

  • Knowledge of FCA regulations especially CASS and COBS is desirable

  • Good interpersonal skills to assist with working with the team and across the business

  • Strong verbal and written communicator with ability to make the complex simple and engage both technical and non-technical audiences using a variety of mediums

  • Can analyse the appropriate data and KPIs to support and identify themes/ trends to make fact-based decision making and recommendations

  • Very good relationship management skills to enable effective influencing, collaboration and challenge of stakeholders

  • Is proactive in delivering agreed outcomes with dedication to robust and consistent delivery

  • Commercial awareness
