Eden Unit is a specialised Inpatient Service for the treatment of severe eating disorders.

It is a regional facility which takes referrals from Tayside, Grampian and Highland Health Boards as well as Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles.

The Unit also incorporates a transitional service for up to 4 day patients, to assist with the transition from Inpatient Service to Outpatient Services.

An opportunity has risen with the inpatient eating disorder service of a Deputy Charge Nurse to join an established team. We require a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic individual wishing to develop their leadership skills while supporting the SCN to lead the team.
Suitable candidates should have extensive post registration nursing experience and should have a knowledge of the current challenges facing the service and this patient group. The suitable candidate must have experience in leadership, be able to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging environment. You must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to adapt your skills to changing situations.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, have experience in management and evidence of continuous service improvement.  

The post holder will be expected to work rotational shifts and to cover night duty if required.

Interviews will take place on the 3rd of May 2024.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
