Here at Dobbies, we want our customers to enjoy tasty food and great service in a welcoming and safe environment. Our club plus members are at the heart of what we do, so exceptional customer service and driving member loyalty is our main priority. To play an essential role in delivering this we are looking for a Baker to join our Restaurant team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and providing a range of sponge cakes which are all hand finished throughout the day. Our restaurants are passionate about producing delicious quality produce and you will play a key role in this. 

Responsibilites

  • Preparing a range of cream cakes to high class finish. Our bakery teams also provide ‘bakery to go’ products for sale in the main store and foodhall so there is a variety of things to do.
  • Ordering stock and successful delivery of budgetary controls
  • Delivering high levels of service all within the Dobbies company guidelines
  • Ensuring all operation is compliant with statutory requirements such as health & safety and food hygiene

Who we are looking for

  • Experience working as a Baker with successful delivery of production at volume
  • Excellent organisation skills with an enthusiasm to get things done well
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, and ideally relevant food safety qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail bakery role would be an advantage
