In this key role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Lerwick Health Centre, as well as line managing our busy Reception team.  Lerwick Health Centre is the largest GP Practice in Shetland with just under 9000 patients.  The Practice is salaried and is Paper light, using EMIS and DOCMAN. 


This is a busy and demanding role but if you like variety and challenge, then this is the post for you.  We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager who is committed to providing excellent quality service within tight performance parameters to ensure patients receive the best service possible.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of practice management processes, project management, IT and human resources and will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.  You will also demonstrate excellent understanding of the need for confidentiality in all aspects of your work.  Good keyboard skills (including Word experience) and the ability to maintain a professional approach in a busy and changing environment are also essential.
