To facilitate a high-quality blended learning experience for students using a range of learning and teaching approaches, including classroom delivery, remote delivery platforms, online delivery and other appropriate channels. To prepare and to review learning products. To assess student output and provide constructive feedback.

Location: UHI NWH Alness
Working Hours: 12 hours, Permanent
Closing Date: 12pm, Monday 24th June 2024

Main duties include:
1. To plan and prepare efficient and effective programmes of learning and the resources
required for them.
2. To facilitate high quality learning experiences using a range of learning and teaching methodologies
to maximise levels of learner achievement.
3. To plan and implement high quality assessment strategies in accordance with awarding
body requirements.
4. To fully engage in the curriculum monitoring and review systems operated by the College.
5. To provide programme and subject leadership in accordance with the requirements of
relevant subject areas.
6. To promote the interests of the College and students in line with the aims of the external sponsoring agencies or other partners and stakeholders.
7. To commit to a process of continual professional development in accordance with the needs of the post and the College’s staff development strategy.
8. To carry out administrative duties as required by line management.

The postholder may be required to undertake additional duties which might reasonably be expected of him/her and which form part of the function of the post.

  • A teaching background is essential. 
  • You should be qualified to Degree level of hold industry specific qualifications.
  • You should have strong music technology and IT skills as well as communication skills and ambition to develop the course in new ways.
