Our firm in the north
We’ve been part of the Highlands, Islands and Moray community for 20 years, but our links stretch
back more than 40 years. Our firm in the north is growing and we want you to be part of our future.

In our 20 years in the region, we’ve helped to start and develop the careers of hundreds of lawyers.
As well as clear development opportunities, you’ll get to work on varied and fulfilling cases which
really matter to the people and organisations across the area. We help individuals and families
experiencing major life events, while supporting some of the Highlands’ most high-profile businesses
and organisations such as major infrastructure providers, renewable energy companies, the marine
and rural economies, and community groups.

Your focus will be on working with clients in the north of Scotland, but there will also be lots of
opportunities to work with colleagues and clients across the country and internationally. You’ll be
backed up by the largest team of lawyers in the north, with the breadth and depth of a national law

Ranked among the country’s leading and largest dealmakers, our Corporate, Commercial & Regulatory team continues to grow and we’re looking to recruit.
The role can be hybrid with the office base ideally in Inverness or Elgin (or surrounding areas).

You will deal with a broad range of corporate transactions including complex, challenging and high-
profile corporate matters. The team covers M&A, corporate restructuring, commercial contracts,
regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Ideally, this role would suit an individual who has
connections to the Highlands, Islands or Moray and who is proactive in business development in
these areas.

You must be able to work well within a team environment and be capable of dealing directly with numerous and varied client enquiries and transactions at any one time. The role is ideally suited for those who have ambitions to progress their career and is comfortable with a significant amount of client contact.
