An exciting opportunity has arisen for the permanent role of Occupational Health Manager. Come lead our small team of professionals to provide confidential and impartial specialist occupational health services that support NHS Shetland and local organisations through a service agreement. The role will cover all aspects of OH specialist nursing practice, delivery of training, service planning, policy development, audit and quality assurance.

You will be responsible for managing the OH team, developing and promoting partnership working with all stakeholders including other local support services e.g. HR, Public Health, Safety and Risk, and participate in local groups and committees e.g. Health and Safety, Staff Wellbeing, Infection Control. You will link into regional and national OH peer networks to maintain OH standards and continued service improvement.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Registration on Part 1 and Part 3 of the NMC register is essential; effective people management experience; excellent prioritisation, organisation, negotiation and communication skill and ability to work under pressure.
