Sales, Marketing & Revenue Manager

Our Sales, Marketing & Revenue Manager is responsible for the way that we present ourselves to the public; both physically and digitally. Working alongside the Managing Director and Operations Team, you will set our overall strategy, and then make sure it's delivered to an incredibly high standard.

About the role:

Our Sales, Marketing & Revenue Manager is responsible for the way that we present ourselves to the public; both physically and digitally.  Working alongside the Managing Director and Operations Team, you will set our overall strategy, and then make sure it's delivered to an incredibly high standard.

The job is hands on and will involve a lot of "doing" - setting prices, updating web pages, writing blog posts, taking photographs - it's safe to say that no two days will be the same!

Staff accommodation may also be available for the perfect candidate. 

Requirements

The things we will look at for excellence in this role:

  • You think creatively to develop clever and imaginative marketing.
  • You have set a clear strategy for the department, with clear deliverables and deadlines.
  • You set and maintain our pricing strategy across the business to maximise revenue opportunities - accommodation, golf course and activity centre.  This includes close management of our online platforms.
  • You understand the importance of brand, and have the attention to detail to make sure that our brand is at the forefront at all times both in the business and to the outside world.
  • You are digitally minded, understand the digital revolution and have an excellent grasp on all digital and social media channels.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and can interpret data to make informed decisions
  • You understand our website well, and can use our CMS it to create new pages, blog posts etc.
  • You’re a true wordsmith!  Have excellent copywriting skills and can make our experiences come to life with words.
  • You have an eye for graphic design, and can both create great content yourself as well as working with 3rd parties to create fantastic media.
  • You have worked with Property Management Systems (PMS) and can take ownership in the maintenance and improvement of our PMS, “HOP”.
  • You are familiar with the Google ecosystem and can work with 3rd parties to create successful ad campaigns.
  • You have a great understanding of photo / video, and can create excellent digital content (both internally and with 3rd parties).
  • You are proactive in identifying trends and opportunities to optimise revenue
  • You have a positive attitude.  We want to work with positive “go getters” that have an optimistic approach to life.
  • You’re a great communicator, both internally with the team and with our customers.
  • You are financially shrewd; setting and maintaining budgets, optimising rates, negotiating with suppliers and reporting accurately via Xero.
  • You maintain and improve systems including our Online Management System and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • You’re a good juggler!  There is always just so much going on and it’s critical to manage priorities well.
  • You manage people well – including 3rd parties and contractors.
  • You report regularly and professionally to the board of directors.
