Due to the start of a new project and a retirement within the team, ScotEID are recruiting for several positions within the office in Huntly including:...

2 x full time vacancies (9am – 5pm) for ScotEID Information Assistants as part of our busy team dealing with various tasks concerning the registration, recording and provision of information and records of livestock keepers and their participation with ScotEID connected to livestock traceability.

Will also consider part time hours.

Good communication and computer skills essential.

Agricultural background desirable.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting livestock keepers register their details on the ScotEID website.
  • Provide livestock keepers, markets, abattoirs, and government agencies with various information relating to livestock identification, traceability and health status via telephone, email or other appropriate communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recording of information relating to communication with livestock keepers, markets, abattoirs and government agencies on software and manual records as appropriate.
  • Distribute information by post, e-mail, telephone or other means as required.
  • To attend training or other meetings as may be reasonably requested.

Competitive rate of pay (rate review pending), paid breaks, plus 7.5% contributory pension scheme.
