Manufacturing Process Manager
As a Manufacturing Process Manager at Mowi CPUK, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our production processes, with a strong emphasis on yield improvement and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). You will lead initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Yield Monitoring and Improvement:
- Implement yield monitoring systems specific to salmon processing.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for yield improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize yield and reduce product losses, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
- Process Optimization:
- Lead process optimization efforts through detailed data analysis, experimentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Focus on maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste within the processing operations.
- Utilize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics to drive improvements in equipment performance and productivity.
- Standardization:
- Standardize operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and repeatability in process execution.
- Ensure that all standardization efforts align with Mowi CPUK’s quality and regulatory standards.
- Project Management:
- Lead process improvement projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production teams.
- Resolve process-related issues promptly to optimize performance and maintain production flow.
- Documentation and Training:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including process flow diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop and deliver training programs for operators on process control strategies and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background:
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or a related field).
- Professional Experience:
- Proven experience in process improvement, yield monitoring, and process optimization within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in food processing.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and strategies to improve it.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, statistical analysis).
- Familiarity with process monitoring systems and optimization software.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
