Responsible for supervision of staff to ensure provision of a high standard of customer service to the travelling customers.  Train Dispatch ensuring that trains leave the station safely and punctually. Provision of information to customers when required.

A highly motibated and flexible individual with excellent communication/interpersonal and customer service skills.. Customer friendly focused. An effective team player who can demonstrate individual initiative. Should be able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm. Ideally you will have customer service experience. Should have a flexible approach to work and be a good team worker.

Hours of work: 17.5 hours per week balanced over a 35 hour week fortnight working 2 days one week then 3 days the following week on rotation.  The full-time role is a 5 day week with a rolling rest day. Sunday - Saturday shift patterns are 04.30 - 12.17 hours, 11.00 - 18.46 hours and 18.13 - 02.00 hours 

Reference Salary: £33,622 per annum pro rata. Training salary £21,193 per annum pro rata.

Selection process:  Assessment and Interview will form the initial stages of the selection process. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical, drug & alcohol screening. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period.

Training: Training initially involves a 2-day Induction training programme
