Pitlochry High School Nursery
A vacancy has arisen within Pitlochry High School Nursery for a Play Assistant.
You will join a team of highly experienced nursery professionals. A caring, nurturing personality is required and the role will involve contributing to the development, planning and implementation of appropriate experiences within a play/care curriculum before, during and after lunch time.
We want staff who are enthusiastic, able to work from initiative, responsive to children's needs and genuinely enjoy working with young children and in a nursery environment.
Some experience of working in a nursery environment is desirable, though not essential.
The Individual
The successful candidate will be able to think 'on their feet' and enjoy a varied role in order to support a happy, busy nursery putting children's needs first.
The role will also include involvement of some lifting, moving of tables, chairs and trolleys to prepare for a nurturing lunchtime/snack time experience.
The successful applicant will have good communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues alike.
