As a registered Mental Health Nurse, on Part 3 of the NMC Register, you will be an integral member of Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Services providing assessment, care, support and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

As a mental health nurse you will join a service that is continually developing to meet the needs of our client group. You will have experience of team working, problem solving, flexibility, continuing professional development and change management. You will have day to day responsibility of managing your workload and a commitment to partnership working with a range of stakeholders.

You will be educated to degree level or have a relevant post graduate qualification and experience relevant to job purpose. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a well-developed knowledge of substance use and mental health problems and appropriate interventions coupled with sound organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative are essential for this post. In return you can expect to receive clinical and managerial supervision and excellent continuous professional development opportunities to further your nursing career.

A car driver with access to a vehicle is essential.

HOURS- Monday – Friday
37 hours per week
