Location: Kittybrewster Complex, Aberdeen
Duration: Fixed Term, Full Time
Roles that require PVG Membership
Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023, where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,727 per annum / £15.97 per hour)
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first FULL month’s salary payment.
Paste job purpose/about the role
The Job profile outlines the types of typical tasks to be undertaken by the postholder(s). These posts will primarily be undertaking tasks that support the the Building Services team at the Kittybrewster complex. This will include data input (e.g. timesheets; property details;) using IT applications and spreadsheets. Filing, scanning, dealing with suppliers regarding invoices and any other queries regarding the delivery of goods in connection with the Council's Housing stock.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
• Good written/numerical skills gained through either Standard Grades/National 4
qualification(s) or
• Relevant work experience
The postholder is able to demonstrate:
Skills and experience in:
• Office administration
• Working with others co-operatively and flexibly to achieve better services and customer focused outcomes
• Using a variety of IT packages
• Organising and prioritising own workload
