The post holder will have a lead role in medicines management at ward level, supporting clinical pharmacists with the medicines reconciliation process, check patients’ own medicines and organise medicines supply for in-patient stay and at discharge. In addition the post holder will have a lead role in medicines related audit as well as the delivery of training on the safe and secure handling of medicines to nursing staff. This post also includes a commitment to rotational weekend working in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
