The Senior Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of Site and the Soft Facilities Department (Domestic, Linen & Laundry Portering) within Perth and Kinross Community Hospitals.
Post holder would ensure that services are provided in accordance with the agreed service and standards within the identified financial targets and to ensure strict maintenance of monitoring procedures for all services.
You must have the ability to work as part of the team or on your own initiative and possess effective communication skills. You must also have the ability to respond constructively to unpredictable situations, focused and able to cope with working under pressure.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in the hospitality industry either in the public or private sector.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
