NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

Applications are invited for the position of LAT ST3 level or above to join our multidisciplinary renal team based at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. We deliver comprehensive renal care (excluding acute transplantation) for a catchment population of approximately 450,000 covering Tayside, Perth and Kinross and North East Fife.

You would join our current team of 4 renal specialty trainees and IMTs and rotate between the renal ward, dialysis unit, outliers (renal referrals/renal patients under different specialties) and clinics (new patient, general nephrology, transplant, advanced kidney care).  There is a 1 in 6 on-call renal rota (evenings and weekend days only) and a small commitment to Hospital at Night cover (approximately 1 week of night shifts per year).

You must be registered with the General Medical Council and hold a Licence to Practice.

Post can start as soon as possible.  End date 5th August 2025.
