Job Description
Are you an experienced project management professional with a passion for delivering change and improvement? Do you have excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) as a team leader.
The PMO is responsible for supporting the delivery of Aberdeenshire Council's ambitious and far-reaching transformation programme, which aims to improve the quality and efficiency of our services, enhance customer experience, and create a more agile and resilient organisation. As a PMO team leader, you will lead a team of project managers and analysts, overseeing the planning, monitoring, reporting and governance of various projects and workstreams within the programme. You will also liaise with project managers, senior managers and sponsors, ensuring alignment of objectives, expectations and resources across the transformation programme.
As an employee of Aberdeenshire Council, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, a generous local government pension scheme, flexible working policy, with the option to work from home or from one of our offices, a range of shopping discounts and offers from various retailers and service providers; and a supportive and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for learning and development.
This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 31/10/26.
The interviews are expected to be held on 02/10/24.
