LOCUM CONSULTANT IN CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

£96,963 - £128,841 per annum pro rata
A part-time Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is available to meet service demand. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) alongside the Clinical Leads for CAMHS and other senior members of the team to deliver high quality clinical care and promote a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach to the delivery of care.
This post will be based within the Helensburgh CAMHS Clinic providing cover across Argyll and Bute. Peripheral clinics are currently being considered for outlying areas. Site provision to the rural areas is under current review and have increased the use of teleconference facilities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to improve continued delivery of the service to rural and island areas. There is currently a review of on call cover across NHS Highland for out of hours Mental Health Services. There is currently no out of hour’s commitment. Active engagement in local, regional and national CPD will be expected.
