Based in Banff Area
An exciting career development opportunity has arisen within the Aberdeenshire Integrated Drug & Alcohol Service for an experienced band 6 nurse or an existing band 7 nurse to join and lead our committed team in providing pharmacological and psychological recovery focused interventions to our service users.
He/she will have excellent knowledge of the drug & alcohol field, proven leadership and communication skills. You will have responsibility for providing clinical and professional leadership in the running of the service. You will be responsible for the delivery and standards of care provided to service users, ensuring safe effective person centred care.
You will lead in the appraisal and setting of personal development plans for nursing staff, including ensuring access to CPD and individual performance management and implementation of revalidation processes.
You will lead the development of new service models to meet the new national MAT standards and HSCP strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with staff, clinical and financial governance.
The successful candidate will be required to work in partnership with other key stakeholders and agencies within Aberdeenshire to deliver the new MAT standards and recovery orientated community drug/alcohol treatment to clients recovering from addiction.
Candidate should be in possession of NMP qualification or willing to undertake NMP training and Car driver (access to vehicle) is essential..
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
