About the department

The Investment Sales Support Executive reports to the Head of Distribution - UK Wholesale. This is a strategically important role at the heart of the UK Wholesale Investments team and plays a key role in helping the team secure new business wins. The Investment Sales Support executive will be aligned to one of the UK Wholesale sub-teams and will work closely with this team.

About the role

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position

The Team Personal Assistant role is a key role within the UK Wholesale Investments team, you will get the opportunity to provide a high level of technical and sales support to the Business Development Directors.

A key element of the role is the ability to proactively provide performance comparisons and fund performance reports to clients in order to help secure new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly respond to requests from prospects or clients on behalf of the Business Development Directors, where appropriate.
  • Assist the Business Development Directors in preparing for prospect meetings, including meeting arrangements, preparation and collation of presentations and other marketing collateral, FC or other market data that could help inform the sales person and the client.
  • Keep Salesforce records up to date
  • Arranging regional events including booking venues and sending out invitations to clients and logging on Salesforce
  • Completing expenses on behave of Business Development Directors
  • Monitoring inboxes on behalf of the Business Development Directors as and when required
  • Booking Travel for Business Development Directors as and when required
  • Raising Purchase orders and liaising with clients regarding correct invoicing procedures
  • Any other adhoc requests

About the candidate requirements

  • Experience working within a global asset management organisation or similar
  • Wholesale/Intermediary experience desirable.
  • Proactive self-starter with an ability to work independently
  • Working and practical knowledge of usual IT software packages including Excel, Salesforce and Concur
