Out of Hours Service, Angus Health & Social Care Partnership
Receptionist - Band 2
Perth Royal Infirmary
2 X 24.7 hr (fixed term/secondment for 6 months)
We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills who can work using their own initiative and work as part of a team to join a busy, dynamic and patient centred service.
The successful candidate will work closely with Out of Hours Team, other Health professionals and Agencies.
You will be the first line of contact for Out of Hours from NHS24 and patients. You should have a good educational background, excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner and basic IT knowledge.
We are looking for individuals who are able to work using their own initiative. Must have ability to work under pressure and take decisive action to preserve service cover and patient safety, possess good oral and written communication skills.
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment. Information on the Healthcare Support Worker Regulations can be found on NHS Tayside microsite on Staffnet>Our Websites>Healthcare Support Workers.

Hours of work are 24.7 per week: You will cover a range of daytime, evening and overnight shifts during periods of planned and unplanned (short notice) staff absence, including public holidays, being based in Perth Royal Infirmary.
