An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for a Band 7 Highly Specialist Clinical Occupational Therapist – 33 hours per week. The post holder will work as a highly specialist Occupational Therapist with a clinical responsibility, along with taking a lead role in clinical and service developments / research relevant to agreed specialist area across Tayside.


The Occupational Therapy Service provides a three tiered model of service delivery to support children and young people’s occupational performance. You will be based in Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre, Forfar and will be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside in schools and community settings as well as health care settings.


We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills, leadership skills, clinical experience in child health, and is a team player. Applicants should have an Honours Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy and relevant post graduate training / experience.


The post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service and play an instrumental role in continuing to develop the service to meet the needs of the children and young people in Tayside.
