JOB TITLE: Technical Delivery Manager – Protection

SALARY: £62,000 - £69,680

LOCATION: Leeds

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, on site.

Working within the Protection Platform you’ll be part of a team working towards delivering digital journeys to our customers. The Platform’s purpose is to create an industry leading experience to help our customers with their insurance needs across life, critical illness & income protection. We strive to achieve this goal by improving our customer journey with new features and tech, simplifying our customer journeys, and improving infrastructure.

As the Technical Delivery Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in providing effective coordination and integration in the delivery of complex technical components that requires cross-cutting engagement across multiple teams and or third parties/ functions.

Skilled & experienced in the core disciplines of stakeholder management, scoping, planning / tracking, resourcing, risk & issue management, budgeting and governance together with an understanding of both service introduction and application management you will have a proven track record of achieving quality deliveries on time and to budget. In promoting collaboration, strong interpersonal skills are a must with a need to develop relationships with both business & technical teams. Finally, we’re looking for someone who’s as passionate as we are in transforming how we work to drive up flow and improve both productivity and effectiveness.

What you’ll need:

  • A proven track record of transforming ways of working including cultural awareness to improve productivity & effectiveness.
  • Change delivery expertise with skills & experience across management disciplines incl. planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk & issue management
  • Extensive experience of stakeholder management at all levels of an organisation.
  • Significant experience of leading and empowering teams using agile development methods and tooling.
  • Experience in making Data led decisions in order to explain the why to a number of audiences and stakeholders.
