Instructor - Bakery

We are seeking an Instructor – Bakery, to be based at our Portree campus.

Position: We are seeking an Instructor – Bakery, to be based at our Portree campus.

Responsibilities: The post holders will be responsible for delivering structured training to students using a variety of approaches to enable them to meet the standards required.  Carrying out assessments to the standards set by the industry/awarding body, maintaining accurate assessment records, evaluating student performance and achievement, making recommendations and highlighting support needs as appropriate are also requirements of the role.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will have an industry related qualification combined with recent relevant industry experience.  Experience as a trainer/instructor is desirable.  

Successful candidates must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to problem solve and relate to students of all ages. 

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.

 

Salary:                   £38,540 per annum, pro rata 

Location:               Portree

Working Hours:     6.5 hours per week, Fixed term for academic year 24-25
