Car mechanic, must be time served with driving license

A position has arisen for a time served car mechanic to work in our busy garage & Mot station. The position is full-time & rate of pay is dependent on skill level & experience...

The trading hours are 8am to 5pm, 5 days a week with a half hour lunch break. This gives a 42.5 working week. However there is scope to be flexible with these hours if need be. We offer servicing & repairs to all makes of vehicles & vans. We don't work on light or heavy commercials. As an Mot station, we repair & turn around Mot failures as quickly as possible to assist our huge customer base. Our rates of pay are dependant on the qualifications & experience of the candidate, they range from 31K to 40K per year.

Requirements

The candidate must be self motivated & be competent in their own abilities. They must be able to work individually & as part of a team in our fully equipped garage. It is preferred that they have a driving license. They must be fully competent in diagnostics, preferably have welding experience although not essential. It would be helpful if they were computer literate but again not essential.
