Job Description
The purpose of this post is to provide ICT/AV support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders in the school.
Responsibilities
- Specialised ICT and AV Tasks
- Health and Safety
- Provision and organisation of materials and equipment
- Responsible for relevant in-service training / CPD
- Financial responsibility including inventory tasks
The Individual
- Expertise in a minimum of one of the areas of ICT /Technical /AV
- Qualified to HNC level in a Electrical/Electronic Engineering; or ICT; or equivalent as demonstrated by experience in any of these fields
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- In depth knowledge of software applications including word, excel and general internet access
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn
- Self confidence
- Self motivated
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A commitment to ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are met
- Evidence of an ability to prioritise work tasks for self
- Ability to accurately record information
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- An ability to communicate technical ICT issues to all within the school environment
- Ability to lift and carry computer hardware in conjunction with moving and handling regulations

Starting Salary: £29,142.10
£15.46 per hour
36.25 Hours per week
