Mears are now looking to recruit a Business Improvement Manager to assist with the change management and business improvement requirements throughout the whole of the Mears Supported Living division.

Role Purpose

As a Business Improvement Manager you will be Reporting to the Regional Director of Mears Supported Living Limited. The Business Improvements Manager ensures continuous business and quality improvements in Scotland. The role of the Business Improvements Manager is crucial in driving improvements, managing teams and maintaining quality performance. Providing assurance that quality of services is being delivered to clients, people and actions are in place to ensure our quality stays strong and risks are managed.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience with a good understanding of change and business improvement methodologies from an operational and IT perspective and is not afraid to challenge existing processes. Prepared to work as a team and independently with excellent networking and relationship management skills with an ability to inspire and lead others.

Role Criteria

  • Willingness to complete SVQ 4 level or equivalent required qualifications for role
  • Must have worked within health and social care.
  • Have an awareness of the regulations and SSSC codes of practise.
  • Experience of line management at service manager level
  • Producing and delivering plans and reports for senior and executive teams.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to convey both technical and non-technical messages.
  • IT skills – competent in Microsoft office.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Full current driving license
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team
  • Quality driven
  • Able to challenge common practise
  • Strong management style and people skills
