We are offering an hourly rate of £12.82. Shifts to be covered are; Late, Sleep and Early shift pattern, we are looking to cover this over 7 days a week.

About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team based in Banff, for a specific service user living in their own home and who has a learning disability.
The successful Support Workers will support in household tasks and maintenance of tenancy. Provision of nutritious meals advice on healthy eating.
Encouragement to attend to personal care and support to travel safely on public transport.
About Them:
Our service user has Mild Learning Disability and presents Anxiety and when anxious may show signs of apprehension and/or aggression. At these times staff are required to support and reassure.
When feeling particularly anxious or upset, he may increase the volume of his voice and show signs of frustration, staff must always follow the behaviour support plan to ensure both staff and service user are safe.
Support worker to work on a 1:1 basis, however on days out, visiting family members and appointment staff will be required to double up.
Activities he enjoys:
- Walking
- Fishing
- Squash
- Day services for activities
- Watching football (Rovers fan)
Our service user has a passion for the Guitar and keyboard so an interest in music would be great but not necessary.
The shift pattern will consist of Late/Sleep/Early shift pattern which are as follows:
- Late shifts 15:00-22:00
- Sleepovers 22:00-07:30
- Early shifts 07:30-15:00
- Your shift will be required to work every second weekend.
For continuity of our service user this is the shift pattern we are offering.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears- does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
