An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and suitably experienced person to join Raigmore Hospital's Discharge Support Team. The team is central to efficient patient flow from the acute hospital.
The successful candidate will enjoy being part of a dynamic and busy team where multidisciplinary working and effective communication is key.
Significant experience in working with people is essential for this role. Excellent communication skills are required and good IT skills are advantageous. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively as part of the team and using their own initiative.
As this role requires the post holder to hold a full current UK driving licence, preferable with C1/D1 held for minimum of 2 years, Max 3 points. Driving is normally within NHS Highland area but occasionally Scotland wide.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
