Two part time positions are now available at 24 hours a week, 4 days in any week day Monday – Sunday, shift hours variable to meet service demand 0700-1300, 1330-1930 or 1900-0100.

A fantastic opportunity have arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual (s) with a genuine interest in Stroke Rehabilitation to join our specialised rehabilitation team.

We are a 34 bedded unit divided into two Wards East/West that cares for both female and male patients whose age range is 16 upwards.

Our team within SRU is multi-disciplinary comprising of Nurses, OT’s, Physiotherapists, Speech/Language Therapists, Dieticians and Medical staff of which you will work closely with.

We are also fortunate to have input from the Chest Heart and Stroke Nurses and Care Management.

We take your development very seriously and offer a robust induction programme with opportunities to develop many differing skills in caring for people who have had a stroke. You will also have the opportunity to take forward your role in stroke specific subjects in order to improve your knowledge and care for your patients.

The successful candidates will join a friendly, dynamic and evolving team.
