An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the existing team within the community rehabilitation service in Banff Aberdeenshire.
We are looking for a suitably experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to work in the North Aberdeenshire area. Based at Chalmers hospital in Banff, but covering the geographical area, the post holder will be expected to undertake specific specialist Physiotherapy assessment and interventions for patients in a variety of settings including community hospital and domiciliary. Availability of a car for work purposes and a valid UK driving license is essential for this post.
The postholder will have the opportunity to experience a varied CRT caseload, including involvement in pulmonary rehabilitation classes. They will work alongside the other physiotherapists and HCSW’s in the community rehabilitation team, and on their own at times. They will be expected to work well in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment.
The post holder will work alongside the physiotherapy community team lead, Band 7, rotational B5, B4 & B3 HCSWs. Working within the team, they will have supervisory and educational responsibilities for Rotational B5’s, HCSW and students.
