Salary: £36,995 - £43,031 p.a. (29.6hpw); £46,244 - £53,789 (pro rata)

Job Purpose: Team Leads for early years, for school years work within the team to provide an integrated service to children & families. Team Leads collaborate to manage the workflow of the team, and provide leadership and supervision to distinct but complementary areas of professional activity. Team Leads have a responsibility to monitor & support the standards of practice from the respective professional disciplines within the Health Team.

On behalf of the team and the wider service, the Team Lead ensures the provision, standards and coordination of universal and early intervention services to children in the early years and school years.

Requirements

  • Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification or equivalent
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Child welfare and protection post graduate certificate/ Master’s (or willing to work towards)
  • Current NMC  registration (part 1 or 2 & part 3) Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting /School Nurse)
  • Evidence of working at Master’s degree level
  • Be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the  operational requirements of the service
