Opportunities have arisen within the Cardiothoracic Department in the Division of Surgery, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and we are now seeking qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join this well-established team on a permanent and secondment basis to cover maternity leave.

The ANP team provides assessment, treatment and ongoing clinical care for patients in our Cardiothoracic ward, Surgical High Dependency Unit and Cardiac ICU.  The department receives Major Trauma patients and the ANP team are essential to the clinical management of these patients. 

As an ANP joining this team you will be expected to work a day/night rotational rota including weekends.  Maintaining and developing your advanced practice skills, knowledge and competence as well as supporting that of others within the team, will also be an expectation of you in this role.

You will hold a PgDip in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent and have experience working in an ANP role.
