Job Purpose:
- To make considered judgements regarding technical and development matters relating to transport and flooding.
- To represent the Roads and Infrastructure point of view in relation to
development proposals. - To consider and approve applications for Road Construction Consent.
- To communicate effectively with developers, planning officers, elected
Members and the public regarding the transport implications of new
development. - To supervise junior members of staff undertaking development management
and roads construction consent

Requirements
Qualification at an appropriate level: HNC/ HND/ Degree in Civil Engineering or subject related to roads development management.
Membership of an appropriate professional body. Working towards (Assistant Technician level) or gained (Technician/ Senior Technician level) Professional qualification at EngTech or IENG (ICE/ CIHT) or equivalent
Valid driving licence
