1 x Bank Staff
The North of Scotland Breast Unit seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated and caring member of staff to join the team providing the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Service to a large area of the Northern of Scotland and Western Isles.
The successful applicant will be required to travel extensively throughout the area, working on the mobile unit, as well as working in the integrated Highland Breast Centre on an ad-hoc basis.
Applicants should hold a post graduate certificate, or equivalent, in Mammography.
A full driving licence is essential and access to a car for mobile work is desirable.
The area is one of the fastest growing in Britain and offers unrivalled opportunities for outdoor pursuits and an excellent quality of life.
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be female under the terms and conditions of the Equality Act 2010.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
